Neil Gash, CFO
Neil is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years accounting experience. He has worked in several different industries with a focus on technology based companies and is a flexible, hands-on leader. As SimplHealth’s Chief Financial Officer, he oversees all management reporting, cash flow management, project management, business strategy and financial analysis. He also enjoys the commercial and strategic elements that encompass the traditional finance role.
Neil has worked for various senior management teams as a CFO or Financial Controller. He started his career assembling accounting experience for a number of national and international companies which grew his love for accounting management which he took ownership of by the 2000’s. He acquired various contracting Financial Controller positions till 2013 when he became a virtual CFO for Diablo Management, providing strategic financial direction and board reporting. Through his contracting he found our team at SimplHealth and officially joined full time as our CFO in 2014.

Mark Edwards, Principal Consultant
Mark is a Principal Consultant with an extensive 25 years experience in all aspects of IT system software development across the whole project life cycle, with hands-on architectural, solution design and implementation skills, primarily gained in the finance, insurance and retail industry sectors. His passion for the difference IT can make in the health sector is infectious. This is amplified by his ability to design and communicate his solutions and the difference they will make, in both technical and real-world terms.
Mark has been working predominately with Microsoft leading edge technologies in the areas of business intelligence, data integration, workflow and distributed solutions. Working with these technologies, he has gained a pragmatic understanding of how they can be deployed effectively within organisations.

Jodi Mitchell, CEO
Jodi is a motivated and experienced leader, with over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry. A major passion of Jodi’s is apparent in SimplHealth’s history of successfully delivering IT solutions for the health sector, making a difference in the lives of everyday New Zealanders.
Jodi was appointed CEO in 2012, tasked with the responsibility to work with the teams in both Auckland and Wellington to establish and look after key relationships, products and innovation while leading SimplHealth’s activity in health sector. She has held a variety of roles in the IT industry over 20 years, from software development and delivery to operational and business management. After starting her career as a programmer, Jodi became a joint owner of a boutique software development company Ministry of Software. She established the Wellington branch in 1993 and Ministry of Software was acquired by Simpl in 1999.
Jodi has been the Chairman of the NZ Health IT Cluster since 2008. The Cluster plays a vital role within the health sector and has achieved an enormous amount in the areas of procurement, collaboration, communication, innovation and exports to off-shore markets. Jodi was also appointed to Board of GeoOp in August 2014.

David Frazer, GM Engineering & Service
David’s role as GM Engineering & Service is to lead our national team of project managers, software developers, solutions architects and testers as we grow our focus on developing and delivering healthcare information technology platforms.
He has over 20 years’ experience as a market and business development specialist in New Zealand, North America and Europe. His expertise in developing and delivering software as a service, together with his experience in cloud content and computer security, are an asset to the IT industry, specifically in the area of health – where safe, secure sharing of information is critical.

Janine Attwood, GM Business Services
Janine is an accomplished leader and brings over 15 years experience working with people and organisations to do amazing things. She is truly passionate about making a difference and this is demonstrated through her approach and results in increased brand and people engagement, always ensuring that people are at the heart of SimplHealth.
Janine was appointed GM Business Services in 2013, tasked with the responsibility of building SimplHealth’s presence externally, while simultaneously ensuring SimplHealth remains an awesome place to work. She thrives on coming up with new and innovative ways to deliver great results for our internal and external partners. She enjoys participating in mentoring programs within the HR and IT industries., and also continues to apply her HR skills within the IT industry within a consulting capacity and plans to continue to stretch this experience into the NGO sector.
